The Dewar’s Vessel is the subject of this still life painting. It seems to be telling us to adapt the ability of a thermos to withstand whatever changes in the outside in order to hold onto what we originally possess and never lose touch of our core. Would not that be a nice trait to have? Maybe once you are able to that, you can embrace your flaws and everything you will decide on will only represent you and your beliefs, right? The big seashell in the artwork seems to be the main subject because of its placement and size, and details. Unlike the tiny white ball, it does not seem like a supplementary element. However, it all work together, resulting in a marvelous piece.
