The visual aspect the sky provided in this winter painting is immeasurable. You can see from the distance a sense of warmth from the sun. The sky is no longer dark and cloudy. From this, you can gather that this is not gonna be a cold winter evening. Even the river is no longer as frozen as it would be in a regular winter night. The cute couple holding hands can attest to that. This painting is very nicely created because it did not lack in detail and depth. Every area is covered to make you feel like you are actually there. Very convincing. A rare characteristic for a painting to possess. This is quite a masterpiece.
