This still-life painting is simple yet something about it is extraordinary. The colors include shades of brown and white. What’s amazing is how each object in this painting is almost the same color, they still stand out. Each subject here is amazingly detailed. You can see sunlight hitting the thick rope, but that’s not all that you can see. The tiny fibers of the rope can easily be seen making it look more realistic.
